The holiday season is here!  

Which can only mean one thing, we all have several reasons to dress up! Below I've compiled some ideas for this holiday season, for everything from work parties to family gatherings and even New Years Eve.  The key is to embrace the season and most importantly have fun! 

Statement Piece. Chances are it'll be freezing outside when you head to your holiday soirées each evening, so a think cardigan, fun coat or anything along this line is a must-have for the season.  It's the first thing people see, and you can use it to pull your entire look together. 

'Tis the season to sparkle! There isn't a time of year when glitter is more appropriate than during the holidays.  My personal favorite is just taking some basics and then adding a "sparkle" piece. Example: Black leggings or trouser pants and this top to give me all the holiday feels! 

Seasonal Colors. Sure, a little black dress is always a foolproof option but add in some golds, silver, and even red and green jewel tones to create a most festive look. Try taking a basic dress like this and adding to it to create your holiday look.  

VELVET, need I say more. I think there is nothing more perfect for this time of year, making its comeback from the 90s. From dusters, cardigans, and even tops  — We have multiple pieces for you to try this holiday season.  I promise you won't regret it.  

Experiment with textures and layers. Simplicity is safe. But something that should be left for another season.  It is the holidays, what better time to try something new. Faux fur, velvet, embroidery work, there are some many fun options. Trying something new and out of the box.

Lastly, Ditch the denim. We all wear our skinny jeans and denim flares year around.  It has become the pant of all seasons.  This holiday do something different, try something like these ruffled flares, the options you can pair on top are endless much like our beloved denim, but this is a way more fun alternative for the season.
